In a sense it does feel complete, but I'd have to agree with you and say there's something missing. Maybe it's that when I look at it, I'm not understanding what's the most important thing about? like there's nothing sticking out to say the least.

it does seem slightly unfinished, I think maybe adding some light shading would make it look more complete without taking away from the details as much.

otherwise it's a gorgeous piece.

You can try adding some black spots, to underline the details. It's too white, just adding a little bit of black will balance everything up

in a sense to me, there isn't. then again I'm easily distracted by everything or perhaps everything's a bit too subtle for my tastes. erm.

truthfully my favorite part is the bird, which I hadn't even noticed originally. I guess I am indeed uncertain of the message. [even though the title clearly states it being life...and everything in it represents it, but there's too much for me?]
